Blessed Christmas Everyone!!!

1 Year Later.

1 year ago, we were top of the world.

Sweeping the Invitational Pol-Ite Tournament and finishing as the second best school in the world in the World All Schools Championships. I knew we were good. I also knew we had to improve.

1 year later, the question is " Have we? "

For me, the answer is yes, but not enough. True, we consolidated our position as the top touch school in Singapore at the SHINE Tournament. It wasn't our best team, we had seniors guiding the rest in the junior team and people like Has and Taufiq missing the tournament. But we made it, barely.

The 2-1 win with five men on the field in the semis against TP, the sudden death 1-0 final win against SP. It showed our fighting spirit and pride, then again, it shouldn't had to come down to this.

Still there has been positives this year. Syahrein and Lewis making the effort to go for SRC Training in a bid to improve themselves and the team. Rahim and Mimi taking the initative to train the team. I appreciated all this efforts but I knew that experience was needed so when Gideon mentioned he was willing to coach, it was good as structure was added to training.

He has had a rocky road since he coached RP Touch, the lack of support from the hybrids ( cant be helped) and the school. But do remember that he is doing all this for free at the moment, he just wants to try his hand at coaching and most importantly, to improve you guys as a team and individuals.

The contact and touch issue has been a thorn for two years. The way to grow a nurturing contact team and further improve an established touch team has not yet been found. Contact Rugby is doubtlessly the more popular and established of both sports but RP Touch has been the roots of Contact and cannot be thrown aside like that.

I have fought for RP Touch all year though ultimately fruitlessly. I have had to quit as captain because of a clash of commitments and other factors. This post is getting a little too long. Point of fact is, as I looked at the Sexy Boys Team (Syahrein, Lewis, Leon, Dexter, Mimi) after my team won, how I wished they were in the final too.

1 Year ago, we had two RP teams in a final. why couldn't we have that happen again this year? The blame doesnt lie only on Sexy Boys, but a whole load of other factors. This issue needs to be addressed, lest next time we might not even have one team in the semis. Think about the problems and issues we have faced this year despite the successes. Will have a team meeting with you guys soon.

P.P.S - Update on Beach Touch - Babewatch came out tops while Sexy Boys did well to reach the semis.

P.P.P.S - Gideon's brother, Stephen was one of the five dragonboaters that drowned in the Cambodia accident. His body was found yesterday. Do offer your condolences to him.

RP Legends Feature 2

Hi people! The RP Legends Section is back again. Sorry for the long hiatus. NTL has been draining, thus the delay in the feature. Nevertheless, I am back again to enrich you'll in RP Men Touch History.

Hasbullah Bin K

Known as Suckbullah, due to his constant cravings for our roadblocks and pole vaults. (private joke) He has been a valuable asset to the touch team, contributing on the field and in the dressing room. His "Prata" move is popular with our fans, though not really effective, fans find pleasure in this movement noting similarities to Raju Thambi Gundu-samy at your nearby prata stall.

Here in this picture, the contact captain who shows no fear on the rugby field gives a nervous smile, hiding his discomfort at this not really high altitude. This is when we realise the feminine side of him, following an exclusive interview with Terence, who was situated closely to him when the picture was taken.

Apperently Terence heard Suckbullah make sounds as he went through the high ropes course. To our shock, Terence described the sound as a cat's meow. "He was whimpering as he went through the course."

Thats the reaction seen on many, as Farkbullah navigated his way through the course. This is a face many also believe that he gives when going in for a suck. So, you might want to beware of that face when he shows it. (although siong finds that face quite a turn on) Who would imagine under all those muscles is a soft and timid little cock.

As our POL-ITE or POL as it is known now, (because ITE has allegedly pulled out) is coming, we send our best wishes to Hasbullah and the team and hopes that he stays at ground level till then.

Match Report Of RP Vs SRC 6 Pack

A nice dry saturday, perfect for touch.

RP, also known as the youth academy of 6 Pack faced a tall order to trying to overcome their losing streak to them. RP hasn't been easy pushovers for 6 Pack, famously holding them for 10 mins with a 1-0 at Oasis Touch. But they have lost their Double Trouble (Terence and Taufiq) since then and lost to 6 Pack 14-0 in the earlier fixture this season. Will the same or even worse suffice?

The simliarities between the two teams was noted by the fans. Your match reporter here heard a few mumours that this is like a RP vs RP match. Whatever it is, prior to kick-off, Syahrein "Chicken Man" Ritzwan flashed his "beak and 2 eggs" if you get what i mean. It seriously irked DT (double trouble), who had the bad fortune to be situated right opposite the chicken man at kick off.

6 Pack got off to their usual lousy start and RP were close to scoring. However it was terence, the boy who doesnt know how to hunt/fish, who opened the scoring with a graceful sidestep on the tryline, fooling fisherman siong before diving for the try. Discontentment from the RP side could be heard as cries of betrayal rang out. Your match reporter later traced this cries to the one named as Suckbullah or Hasbullah. He would have his revenge later on as I continue this report.

Out of the blue, RP scored their first try! Suckbullah feinted to suck terence and adam's dicks but instead burst thru their gap. terence chased him down but Suckbullah, sensing defeat, modifed his signature move, the Prata, to The Prata Pass and flung/passed the ball.

I never knew Chickens loved pratas but the chicken man, Syahrein caught and dived for the try. Suckbullah was seen overjoyed that his move worked. Not the pass but the feint for the blowjob. *HAHAHAHA this is fun*

But Suckbullah didn't end there. Khairul the 6 Pack Captain broke thru in a dummy half break and flung a high ball. Terence jumped for the ball like a Percy Montogomery, Jason Robinson or Chris Latham. However Suckbullah saw that terence's D**K was at his mouth level, and went for it.

People get red cards for tackling in the air in the contact game, although Suckbullah's intention was not to tackle in the air but to S**K, Terence was fallen on his back from his high jump nevertheless and had to roll off the pitch. Concerned fans were booing Suckbullah with death threats and missiles thrown at him after he destroyed their star.

The rest of the match is rather irrelavent. Syahrein scored a brace, the 2nd a very good dive on the tryline. Double Trouble bagged a hat-trick each despite one fasting and the other injured. The match ended 14 - 2 to 6 Pack.

RP played well. Your match reporter here interviewed 6 Pack and they admitted RP didnt make things easy for them. "We really had to work for our tries, their defence was really tight in the first half"

We also interviewed Suckbullah, arguably the man of the moment, after the game. He said " I am so sorry of what I have done. I promise to behave in the future."

RP Touch Times congratutes 6 Pack on their win and RP for putting up a good fight. They send their well-wishes to RP Captain Terence who was last seen on the physio treatment table on monday and is doubtful for RP's friendly with NP today. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the field for 6 Pack crunch match with Wanderers this weekend.

Fourth Generation Legend

It has been a cultural that fourth year student have become a legendary figure in Men's Touch team.
Player like Sujan, Amelia and Chitty has perform exceptionally well in field and score numerous tries for school. But they have remain a struggling student in class, finding ways to cope with their attendance and FYP. Nevertheless, they help RP to the glorious route for the past years, winning title for the school. A commendable effort for these Legends.
Once again, the days for graduating have drawn nearer. The fourth generation of RP Legend will be reveal in few months time.

Here are the nominee:



Terence "cockless" beng:










The best candidates getting the title of the Legend. He has been skipping class and getting low grade in his module. His FYP last sem was a flop. And again this sem, it a two noob men team. He recently being tackle hard by Farkbullah. But with that super dick of his, he managed to score few tries.
The good criteria of a Legend.


Matthew "the horse" John:












The dark horse for the title. Thou his attendance might be average, but his FYP had been label a D+. The route of getting the Legend also seem near to him. A tall player with a bucked-teeth, who always irritated opponent with his loud noise.


David "hunter" Chow:










The only person that can challenge Terence. His attendance has been really going down. Now he is in France watching the World Cup instead of attending class. Well, good luck to him then. This give him another chance to hunt for another years in RP.


Taufiq the Sidestepper:









The least possible chance for the title. His attendance and FYP has been rated good by his peer. So it is quite difficult for him to win this title. A good sidestepper who always love to fake and dance with his opponenet. A playmaker who orchestrate the team with his passes and run.

RP Legends Feature 1

The seniors (Year 3s) are retiring (graduating we hope) soon. i'm sure everyone has heard stories about them. The great tries they scored, the diving touches they made and their various speciality moves. But this is not what defines a person. So from this week onwards and for the weeks to come, RP Touch Men Times will be showcasing some of our seniors in their past. I do hope this will enrich all of you in RP Men Touch's history.

For this week -

Benjamin Owen Sebastian

Addressed uniquely by his middle name of Owen, though he bears no remote resemblance in colour or size to the highly acclaimed England and Newcastle striker. He is known as the hardest crasher in the team, whether it is due to size or speed, we leave it up to deliberation.

Here in this picture, he was seen hunting in the greens of Monash University, Melbourne. Luring his target with his hunting skills (which he claims he doesnt have), he entices the target to tease him with a USO (Unidenified Strange Object) which he obviously enjoys as depicted in the picture above.

If we do make it to Darwin in December, you would do good to take hunting lessons from the man who knows the Aussie forests inside out.

NTL MATCH 3 - Master vs. RP
Date: Saturday 25 August 2007
Score: 6 - 8
(Dexter 2, Suhaimi 2, Lewis, Siong, Mimi, Bing Quan)

After humiliation defeats by the two giant of NTL, RP boys finally won their first match of the tournment.
The match start with RP taking the kick off. Within a minutes, Suhaimi,the ex-under 15, scored the first tries with his fancy sidestep. Second tries come from Siong when he support Lewis, dummy-half, and scored an easy tries.
Bad defensive and lack of communication, The Master punished us by scoring three consecutive tries. Luckily, just before half time, Mimi scored with an individual effort.
Half-time score: 3-3
Just as the second half start, Suhaimi scored through a lobang. But, Master reply a tries instantly. They tend to crush towards the link before swing it to the wing and do a switch. The team always being faked by their switch and let in easy tries Again, Dexter score with his trademark dive but yet again, Master return back after the kick off. The RP boys, esp, the juniors are too kanjiong and tend to lost distraction. This really almost cost us the game. Player like Sanka and Shrek, listen, shout and look at your opposition player. Both are so blur and always look lost what to do. Bingquan handling and passing got to work it out more.
Once again, Suhaimi, the ex-under 15, save the day! Three sidestep and a commit pass to dexter, he scored.
RP team slowed down the momentum as they leading. With three slow easy crush, Mimi the dummy half burst and give a solid pass to Bingquan. Luckily he caught the ball and scored.
The Master are make up of some old groggy man who can't even sprint. And the team concede 6 tries. Defensive and communication from the team have to start to build up. One of the team strength is the speed, how can you sprint if you are tired and panting. So please do roll-sub, even you did not play a lot.
Do train up more on defense, as it really atrocious.
RP won the games, but to be truth, a poor match.

p.s don't be discourage if you are being labeled cock of the day. This is to tell and advice you of your improvement. Cheer up. Hopefully next game will be a different person.
